Well here we are at the end of yet another year. Time goes so quickly and before we know it we will have the 2010 Federal Election on our doorstep. So now is a good time to ask you to consider standing as Candidates to represent One Nation.
In 2009 we will be working on a Membership drive. I am sure you all know of people outside of the Party who have the best interests of this great Nation of our at heart, these are the people we need to build One Nation back to the force it was in 1998.
These are the people who would do us proud as Candidates.
In January 2009 a teleconference has been scheduled between all States. This should be the catalyst to get Unity happening within One Nation. If we are going to gain the strength and credibility to challenge the two major Parties this must happen.
I have at last had the pleasure of meeting with our benefactor. This after several years of constant letter writing which has seen us gain a trusting rapport.
I can tell you that this man is the most patriotic person I have ever met. At nearing the age of 95 he is still very much on the ball and keeps contact with many groups as well as One Nation people.
It is amazing that he still reads without glasses. Not many of us can do that, I am sure.
While speaking to him I could see flashes of a young man still coming through.
The trust he has put in One Nation must be rewarded. So now it is up to us!! Let us all work to get One Nation on the map.
This trip consisted of 2 nights at Echuca, 2 nights at our
State President’s home at Woomelang plus a day trip to
Pinnaroo. As City folk we
were shocked by the state of the country once we got over the divide.
We could
count on one hand the dams that had any water to speak of. Many were just a
puddle. Between Kilmore and Heathcote many farms had For Sale signs out. Into
the Mallee the farmers have their fields ploughed ever awaiting rain that is
promised but is rarely seen.
I am pleased to report that our State Director Bruno Marmo is back "on deck" We welcomed him back at our State Meeting on November 22nd.
The news on the Corryong Branch President is not so good. What was first diagnosed as pneumonia is in fact much worse. Alf has begun Chemotherapy and is having a rough patch at this time. Many of you will know Alf and Phyllis Coulston personally as Alf stepped in as Interim State President a few years ago.
If you would like to send Get Well cards, please send them to
PO Box 439 Seaford 3196 and I will pass them on to
Alf. Or you can Email a
message for me to pass on.

Our thoughts and Prayers are with Alf and Phyllis and their family.
On a brighter note: The very first State Director in Victoria, Bill Croft, has successfully campaigned for Council in Swan Hill. Congratulations Bill!! I am sure you will make a difference in your area.
I haven’t as yet heard how Ben Buckley went in his bid for re-election on the Bairnsdale Council.
However, knowing how respected Ben is in that area I am sure he would once again have been elected.
At our last State Executive Meeting we concentrated on the "Think Tank" a paragraph from Frank Jewell’s suggestions was re-worded thus:-
Governments do not listen to the People.
John Howard took no notice when the people spoke:-
No Wars 80%---No Sale of Telstra 70%---No GST 85%
All of this was ignored!!
The Voice of the People was not heard!!
One Nation is the Voice of the People!!
Join with us to help us gain strength so that Governments must start to listen.
This has now been posted onto our web site along with other upgrading. I must take this opportunity to thank Stan Batten, the S.A. President, who has assisted our State President John Groves with mastering the web site. www.vic.onenation.com.au
If there is something you would like to suggest to be posted please contact me.
Also at this last Meeting the problem of the racism tag was discussed. In One Nation we have Members from many different Countries. Both Qld. and W.A. have stood Aborigine Candidates.
Most States have had Candidates who have migrated here. So how can the media give us a tag of racism?
News from Kev Mitchell 6-12-2008: G.M.H. have just announced
on the ABC News that by 2010 they will be producing all their cars as FFV ie;
85% Ethanol capable. They also stated that they are having talks with a US
consortium with a view to building Australia’s first Celluloses waste [ non
grain feed ] 85% Ethanol plant in Aust. As I also predicted this would be a non
grain feed plant supplied by green material from many sources including
household waste the most prolific. This is timely as I see the Governments
recent announcement that they are lifting the embargo on the growing of
commercial hemp in Australia. Hemp is a weed & you cannot kill it but it makes
wonderful Ethanol plus many other products. Also it takes little water & looking
after.
Now it becomes more urgent than ever that our farmers look to setting up their own Australian Cooperatives ASAP for time is fast running out & the oil companies & G.M. are making their move. END.
Ed’s Note:- Kev has put so much time and effort into the Ethanol issue. Many hours of research and has made contact with farming groups in the U.S.A.
ON BEHALF OF THE STATE EXECUTIVE OF ONE
NATION VICTORIA

I WISH YOU ALL A SAFE & MERRY XMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR

President’s Report December 2008.
Well if you think that we in the Western world have it bad, just have a look at Zimbabwe.
With inflation at all time records, and now Cholera spreading into neighbouring African States, it is time for the UN to take affirmative action, and show some leadership. That is what they are paid for. It has been an excuse for Cocktail parties for far too long.
Had Zimbabwe had vast amounts of oil deposits it would have been in there long ago?
Pat Loy our State Secretary, sent mail and Emails to the UN and to Mr Downer back as far as September 2008, for the UN to take positive action and to get involved.
At long last we have a response from a world leader, in Mr Gordon Brown the English Prime Minister, saying enough is enough, and for the UN to take positive steps to depose the Dictatorship in Zimbabwe.
Now back to good old Aust.
Rosa Lee Long is spot on re ACCC. It cannot sort out prices in the supermarkets, Farmgate prices, and the other item that has untold effect’s on the Australian household , the price of Fuel, be it Petrol, Distillate ,and LPG, I have said on many occasions that we deserve better from the brain dead head of the ACCC.
