In the weekend Australian of 14th June there was an article and an editorial about One Nation that showed clearly how the major parties manoeuvred to keep us out of power.

Now for several reasons, it is more vital than ever that One Nation must be strong.

Rudd is talking about making Australia part of an EU style Asia-Pacific Union with open borders and a common currency.

Labor wants to bring a million more migrants into Australia.

Labor wants to bring in 5,000 Pacific Islanders as "guest workers" from countries with little or no facilities to supply health or criminal record checks.

The already artificially high price of fuel is being jacked up further by overseas pressures when we could really be self-sufficient.

We have Labor firmly entrenched in each state and federally with an emasculated opposition which has no answers, because it doesn't even know the questions!

Now is the time for all "fair dinkum" Australians to stand up for our country and be counted!

Labor's plan to increase annual migrant intake to 300,000, the biggest intake since 1947, will be a disaster for working families.

A skill shortage means skilled workers who are in jobs have stable employment, security for their families and are in a position to bargain for higher wages and better conditions, because their employers can't afford to lose them. What's wrong with that?.

Scare-mongering by big business about a wages blowout is code for wanting a large pool of unemployed who are desperate for jobs so wages can be kept down.

Of course if migrants can't speak enough English to understand the fine print of their contracts, or are too fearful of having to return to their homeland to complain about their wages and conditions, big business thinks : "so much the better".

If there is a shortage in a particular trade it should be met by training more people in Australia instead of taking the cheap way out and importing them from overseas.

In addition, there is endemic unemployment among aborigines, how about training some of them to do useful jobs.

Many retired people with invaluable skills and years of experience would also be prepared to come back to work if they could earn money without it affecting their pension.

Migrants don't create jobs, if they do they should send them to the countries with the highest unemployment.

One absurd part of the Rudd policy is a plan to bring in unskilled`workers for seasonal work from ethnic groups already heavily over-represented in crime figures.

Apart from that, 300,000 migrants will only push up rents and home prices and put more stress on roads, water supply and the health system..

Labor's plan only proves our worst skill shortage is the complete lack of intelligence on Kevin Rudd's front bench.

All commentaries on the Federal Budget have missed the fact that the Australian economy is a mess.

If not, why are tens of thousands of Australians having to foreclose on their mortgages, while the banks who lent them the money make never-ending profits?

We might also ask: if the Government is tightening expenditure to contain inflation why are there billions of taxpayers dollars wasted on non-existent global warming?

Furthermore, if, as the Government and Opposition and the economic gurus keep telling us, the economy is strong why do we need to pay couples the "baby bonus" before they can afford to start a family?

The truth is, as home ownership is less than half as affordable as it was 25 years ago, by the time they have paid their mortgage, having being tricked by their bank to borrow more money than they could afford to in the first place, many couples have no money left to start a family.

While Government and Opposition trade insults over Health Policy, because it would cut into the profits of the big corporations who finance them, both ignore the fact we could cut health costs by regulating the sale of junk food and doing more to combat alcohol abuse.

Australians are having to sell their homes, work three jobs to keep afloat and put off starting a family because the Hawke-Keating-Costello policies of financial deregulation, free trade, globalisation and high immigration are coming home to roost.

Australia will continue on this financial mudslide as long as economic policy is about dollars instead of people.

TABLELANDS ELECTORATE, FREEHOLD LAND SEPARATION ZONE Hansard 13 May 2008

Once again this government has cruelly trampled over the rights of

freehold landowners in this state.

Under its State Planning Policy 2/07, property owners within a certain distance of an extractive industry or quarry site, or even along a transport route used by that site, have lost significant control of their property from 3 September 2007. Constituents have told me they were shocked and horrified to discover that, under this policy, land they bought as recently as a few years ago as an investment for their later years can no longer be subdivided and other onerous restrictions have also been imposed. Their properties now fall within what is called a separation zone, stretching out a kilometre or so from the boundary of a nearby quarry.

It gets worse. On one of these properties a third of the land is under

an historic orchard, which has coexisted for years in close proximity to this quarry with no problems whatsoever. In fact, it is separated from the quarry by a main road and a river, and it is on the edge of town. But the orchard owners have been advised that not only can they not subdivide but also they are banned from employing any more than two part-time staff to help pick their fruit or do any of the other myriad tasks involved in farming. It is impossible for this semiretired couple to harvest their crop with so

few workers. It is too ridiculous to contemplate.

In another case constituents share a boundary line with the quarry which is on the side of a steep hill. Yet their whole property of 168 acres has also been included in this separation zone. Surely, there must be some parts that could be developed as it is ideally placed on the outskirts of town where there is a very real and acute shortage of residential blocks. However, this man and his wife have been told they are unable to subdivide and realise their life savings when they retire in a few years time.

Other constituents have also contacted me as they, too, have discovered their freehold land, their investments, superannuation and futures have also been hijacked by those on the government benches.

In addition, land within 100 metres of either side of a transport route used by an extractive industry is subject to the same limitations. In this case, the route traverses the main street of a tablelands town, thus crippling any chance of future development or growth for an entire community. This particular quarry operates in a very low-profile way, and I have not had any complaints regarding its activities.

There are some 90 sites, including five in the Tablelands electorate, covered by this policy right across Queensland. I wonder how many freehold blocks and how many landholders have been affected statewide and do not even know it?

Other solutions must be found—perhaps a new zoning or a notation on the title indicating that there is an extractive industry nearby. Owners

would still have their options available while buyers would be well

aware of the proximity of a quarry. Destroying the viability of freehold land and eliminating people's future financial security by stealth has become a hallmark of ALP government in Queensland.

(The Australian, 5/6/2008) Kevin Rudd wants to spearhead the creation of an Asia-Pacific Union similar to the European Union by 2020 and has appointed veteran diplomat Richard Woolcott - one of his mentors - as a special envoy to lobby regional leaders over the body.

Mr Woolcott, 80, was Mr Hawke's right-hand man in establishing APEC and was a frequent critic of the Howard government's foreign policy.

Mr Rudd said he would send Mr Woolcott to complete the "unfinished business" ..

The collapse of Christianity has wrecked British society, a leading Church of England bishop declared yesterday.

It has destroyed family life and left the country defenceless against the rise of radical Islam in a moral and spiritual vacuum.

In a lacerating attack on liberal values, the Right Reverend Michael Nazir-Ali, the Bishop of Rochester, said the country was mired in a doctrine of 'endless self-indulgence' that had brought an explosion in public violence and binge-drinking.

In a blow to Gordon Brown, he mocked the 'scramblings and scratchings' of politicians who try to cast new British values such as respect and tolerance.

The Pakistani-born bishop dated the downfall of Christianity from the 'social and sexual revolution' of the 1960s.

He said Church leaders had capitulated to Marxist revolutionary thinking and quoted an academic who blames the loss of 'faith and piety among women' for the steep decline in Christian worship.

Dr Nazir-Ali said the ' newfangled and insecurely founded' doctrine of multiculturalism has left immigrant communities 'segregated, living parallel lives'.

Christian values of human dignity, equality and freedom could be lost as the way is left open for the advance of brands of Islam that do not respect Western values.

Over the past six months, Dr Nazir-Ali has made a number of criticisms of Islam and its influence.

Among them have been charges about the spread of no-go areas for non-Muslims and worries over the impact of new mosques.

Last weekend he was one of just three bishops who backed a move in the Church's parliament, the General Synod, to encourage the conversion of Muslims to Christianity.

His latest attack once again criticises Dr Williams's backing for sharia law, saying that 'recognising its jurisdiction in public law is fraught with difficulties, precisely as it arises from a different set of assumptions than the tradition of law here'.

The bishop, himself an immigrant from Pakistan in the mid-1980s, admitted that he might be thought the least qualified person to discuss British identity. But he quoted Kipling: 'What should they know of England who only England know?'

The bishop said 'something momentous' had happened in the 1960s. He quoted historians who point to a cultural revolution in which women ceased to uphold or pass on the Christian faith and to the role of Marxist revolutionaries.

He said: 'It has created the moral and spiritual vacuum in which we now find ourselves.' In the place of Christianity there was nothing 'except perhaps endless self-indulgence'.

The bishop said the consequences were 'the destruction of the family because of the alleged parity of different forms of life together, the loss of a father figure, especially for boys, because the role of fathers is deemed otiose, the abuse of substances (including alcohol), the loss of respect for the person leading to horrendous and mindless attacks, the increasing communications gap between generations and social classes - the list is very long.'

Another result, he said, was that immigrants had been welcomed, not on the basis of Britain's Christian heritage, to which they would be welcome to contribute, but by the 'newfangled and insecurely-founded doctrine of multiculturalism'.

The bishop warned that views not founded on Christianity would not produce the same values. 'Instead of Christian virtues of humility, service and sacrifice, there may be honour, piety, the saving of face, etc'.

He questioned what resources were available for an ideological battle against radical Islamism, saying 'the scramblings and scratchings around of politicians for values which would provide ammunition' were hardly adequate.

Born into a Roman Catholic family in Pakistan, the young Michael Nazir-Ali converted to Anglicanism at the age of 20.

As a young man, he suffered rough treatment of the kind regularly handed out to Christians in a country where failing to follow the official religion can sometimes end in murder.

He is one of the bishops who has been called on by the Prince of Wales to give advice on Islam.

In particular he has called on Islamic leaders to allow Muslims to abandon their beliefs and adopt other religions.

Dr Nazir-Ali has spoken up for an estimated 3,000 Britons under threat of retaliation for giving up their faith and he has condemned Islamic states that maintain the death penalty for apostasy.

Two Christian preachers were stopped from handing out Bible extracts by police because they were in a Muslim area, it was claimed yesterday. They say they were told by a Muslim police community support officer that they could not preach there and that attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity was a hate crime The community officer is also said to have told the two men: "If you come back here and get beat up, well, you have been warned.'

The preachers say they will take the force to court for breaching their human rights if they don't receive an apology. One, born in Egypt and a muslim convert to Christianity, said: 'He told us we were trying to convert Muslims to Christianity and that that was a hate crime.

The Alum Rock area was at the heart of a terrorism inquiry last year, which ended with the conviction of local resident Parviz Khan for plotting to kidnap and behead a British soldier.

Zero-tolerance policing has slashed crime in a city that has been blighted by anti- social behaviour and violent assaults, it emerged yesterday.

The U.S.-style strategy - involving crackdowns on vandalism, drugtaking and fare dodging together with monitoring and harassment of known criminals - has reaped dividends in Liverpool.

Since it was launched by Merseyside Police in 2005, as Total War on Crime and Total Care for Victims" violent crime has fallen by 38 % while robberies are down 23 %.

Significant reductions have also been seen in vehicle taking (down 51 %, theft from vehicles (28 %) and criminal damage (25 %). Overall recorded crime has fallen from 170,846 offences in 2005 to 126,934 in 2008 - down 25.7 per cent. During the same period, the number of arrests has increased by more than half from 40,518 to 64,465.

Twice a month hundreds of officers flood the streets to hunt suspects who have jumped bail or those wanted for a particular kind of offence.

They routinely smash down doors to execute warrants and work with agencies such as utility companies, TV licensing and customs and excise to put pressure on known criminals.

The only category where there has not been any dramatic progress is gun crime.

Horrified by a spate of knife murders involving youths in recent months, new London Mayor Boris Johnson is keen to bring zero tolerance to the capital and has asked the U.S. police chief who cleaned up the streets of New York to help.

The news that 720,000 Australians are on disability pensions proves that for years unemployment figures quoted by both Coalition and Labor Governments have been faked.

It has been too easy to dump jobless people into the Disability Support Scheme to get them out of the unemployment figures and make

the Government of the day look better than it is.

Many of those on disability pensions have only minor physical or psychological ailments and could be productively working, if a greater effort was made to fit them into appropriate jobs that would accomodate their disability.

This would partly fix the so-called skills shortage that has caused the Rudd Government to come up with its absurd scheme for increasing the migrant intake that is far too high already.

A signifcant proportion of people on disabled pensions, of course, are there as a result of drug and alcohol abuse, another problem that decades of Governments have ignored, if not encouraged.

One Nation says we need Governments that give priority to fixing the problems of the country instead of fixing their published statistics to make themselves look good.

A radical sheik, Muhammad Alshareef, spoke in Bankstown Town Hall om Friday 23rd and Condell Park High School on Saturday 24th.

On the website sunnahonline.com there is an article by him entitled "Why The jews Are Cursed". The same website has an article "Raising Mujahid Children" (by another luminary) urging islamic mothers to train their children for jihad.: Quote: .".... it is a good idea to start your children young in terms of introducing them (through safe toys) to target-shooting. Make it very clear who their target should be and who their target should NOT be. This can be done through toy guns and toy military sets, as well as by engaging in sports that develop good hand-eye coordination, such as darts and archery. If you can spare the time to spend with your children and play military games with them in a fun way, and get them interested in these (as opposed to other largely useless, but very popular games and sports), then that will insha'Allah be counted as Jihâd in itself (as preparation for Jihâd is a part of Jihâd). You can practice in front of them in your own home using their toys. Children learn by imitating what adults do. Insha'Allah you will find them interested and imitating your actions and they will become disciplined experts before you know it. ...."

One Nation contacted the local Torch newspaper, the shadow Minister for Education and various journalists to state that we don't need preachers of hate in this country, and Bankstown Council should refuse him use of the Town Hall, and the Education Department should refuse him use of Condell Park High School.

Dentists who use cut-price and potentially deadly crowns and dentures from China are putting their patients at risk, it was claimed today.

The products are often made in unregulated laboratories and can contain dangerous levels of lead, dental experts warned. In the U.S., four cases of lead poisoning have been linked to Chinese dental fixtures. A laboratory test revealed that some contained 210 times the acceptable amount of the toxic metal.

Richard Daniels, the chief executive of the Dental Laboratories Association, said the number of potentially dangerous imports was rising. ""The fact is the majority of NHS work will be coming from China or India in the next five years. We need to be moving towards proper regulation of the industry. British dentists can now take an impression of a patient's tooth, send it to a Chinese lab by express post and get a crown back within four days. Suppliers of imported fixtures ask for around £10 per crown, compared to the £100 fee charged by British labs. The cost of a crown on the NHS is around £193. Although the materials used to make crowns, bridges and dentures must carry a CE safety mark, there is no way of checking whether the manufacturer has used the correct materials.
