It's time we all get behind Bruce Allen & scrap all this Political Correctness crap.  His comments were anything but racist, but there are far too many overly-sensitive 'new Australians' that are trying to change everything we hold dear.

I am sorry, but after hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Arabic - enough is enough. Nowhere or at no other time in our nation's history, did they sing it in Italian, Japanese, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German, Portuguese, Greek, or any other language because of immigration. It was written in English & should be sung word for word the way it was written.

The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close.

I am not sorry if this offends anyone, this is MY COUNTRY - IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY SPEAK UP ---- please pass this along.

I am not against immigration -- just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes; live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and LONG LIVE Australia!

The media are thick with stories of the sell-out by our Labor politicians, at both State & Federal levels, of our public assets (electricity, water, property, etc), resources (gas, oil, iron ore, copper, uranium, nickel, farmland, aluminium, rare metals, etc) & the big one announced in the budget - the dramatic lifting of multiracial unskilled immigration from all & sundry countries. The unions may be just waking up (but they're slow - because the union leaders want to progress into parliament & therefore don't want to rock the boat - or they'll miss out on the gravy train) that they are, & have been, shafted by the Labor Party. Mainstream Australians have been sold out for years - in just about every direction.

Rudd's Labor Government is determined to put our social stability further at risk, like the Europeans have, slavishly following greatly expanded multiracial immigration from all corners of the earth for some spurious, trumped-up short term "gain" - playing into the hands of the globalist multinationals, the immigration rorters, the corrupt politicians & elites that want to further control the resources & the labour of the world by breaking down countries' sovereignty, independence & identity.

The Australian Industry Group (representing the multinationals & sections of Australian industry) wants a big increase in unskilled migrants for the workforce. No talk about them paying for some intensive training of the existing pool of unemployed.

If these individuals don't measure up they aren't allowed back on the dole. The Labor Party created the welfare

state monster, which allows families with generations of unemployment. It's the Labor Party's responsibility to fix what it created.

Ex-union boss, now parliamentarian, Doug Cameron on the weekend, (17-18 May), at a private meeting said "increased immigration was a debate of significant consequence to the nation". He avoided referring to non-assimilating multiracial immigration, but warned about the unfortunate rise of the British National Party in the recent elections, but failed to acknowledge that this rise has been brought about by the very treachery & maladministration of the major parties - particularly in relation to sellout, treacherous levels of immigration overseen by the British Labour Party.

"The Australian" Editor suggests that all this huge proposed increase in declared & hidden immigration is alright & the problem of undesirable ethnic groups & individuals can be overcome using the CITIZENSHIP TEST (what a joke) & SOCIAL PROGRAMS. Yes, he is seriously trying to pull the wool over our eyes & treat all of us as fools. With the treacherous, & in many cases, corrupt record of the major parties with multiracial immigration, only a moron would trust them. The treacherous Labor Party wants to increase open slather immigration (including getting rid of the word " skilled ") - which will enrich the carpet bagging immigration industry & sell out the mainstream Australians they are purporting to represent.

Untrammelled multiracial immigration is stressing our resources, infrastructure, water supply, hospitals, health, environmental health,

corrupting our public officials, politicians, our democracy & our social cohesion. We even learn from the Fairfax Media (SMH 20/5), which is usually an advocate of multiracial immigration, that for years the spread of Hepatitis B by incoming migrants has been hidden by governments for fear of creating a public reaction. This monster of multiracial immigration permeates & increasingly threatens every aspect of our society.

The media refer to the  "anti-multiracial immigration movement" as some far right wing splinter Nazi group that should be ignored & not taken seriously. In adopting this attitude they, & their owners, have become part of the treachery. I can assure everyone following the discussions about multiracial immigration & associated turmoil, filling the media every day (an unprecedented phenomenon), that the current burgeoning movement is full of concerned people from all walks of Australian life - including professionals, returned servicemen (including very senior officers), workers, tradesmen, clergy, farmers, many down to earth Australians & highly respected people.

The time has come to get out in the streets & protest enmasse in every major city & meeting place. If the pensioners can demonstrate, so can Mainstream Australia - this could turn into a life or death issue for our grandchildren. Choose a national action " Scrap Multiracial Immigration Day " - say Australia Day or the sooner the better - before these b*stards do any more damage.

For all the scientists out there & for all the students who have a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here's something that shows God's awesome creation & that He is still in control.

Did you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been called 'myth' in the Bible is  true?

Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland, & a consultant in the space program, relates the following development.

I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today happened recently to our astronauts & space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland.

They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, & planets would be 100 years & 1,000 years from now. We have to know this so we won't send up a satellite & have it bump into something later on in its orbits.

We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite & where the planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.

They ran the computer measurement back & forth over the centuries & it came to a halt. The computer stopped & put up a red signal which meant that there was something wrong with either the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards.

They called in the service department to check it out & they said "What's wrong?" Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed time.

They scratched their heads & tore their hair out. There was no answer.

Finally a Christian man on the team said, 'You know, one time I was in Sunday School & they talked about the sun standing still.' While they didn't believe him, they didn't have an answer either, so they said, 'Show us.'

He got a Bible & went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with 'common sense.'

There they found the Lord saying to Joshua, "Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall  not a man of them stand before Thee.'

Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy! And if darkness fell, they would overpower them.  So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right... 'The sun stood still & the moon stayed & lasted not to go down about a whole day!' (Joshua 10:12-13)

The astronauts & scientists said "There is the missing day! They checked the computers going back into the time it was written & found it was close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours & 20 minutes ... not a whole day.

They read the Bible & there it was about [approximately] a day. These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you'll still be in trouble 1000 years from now. Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits. As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS.

The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book & read these words in 2 Kings that told of the following story: Hezekiah, on his death bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said 'Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees ?'

Hezekiah said, 'It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees.'  Isaiah spoke to the Lord & the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD! Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes!

Twenty-three hours & 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the missing day in  the universe! Isn't it amazing?

What if you received a speeding fine & you were certain you were not speeding? Well, I can say through experience you will need a lot of patience & very deep pockets, let alone the ability to accept the fact that a fair go is out of the question.

I am in the middle of 2 such cases in the search for Justice with what appears no chance of success & this is what happens. I was driving through the country adhering to the speed limit, oncoming traffic flashed me alerting me to the presence of a radar so to be smart I lowered my speed to well below the limit. Several weeks later I received a fine for exceeding the limit by some 16 klm. So I wrote to the expiation notice branch immediately & asked to have my day in court. As there was no process to sort the matter our earlier, I also requested some info in a second letter so as to mount a defence. They then took the matter to court without my knowledge & had me found guilty. I then received a notice saying I was to lose my licence which made no sense as I had points left.

Upon investigation, the police had changed the date of the offence back 1 year so it would have that effect. They then offered me my licence back if I took no further action. No chance!

After many phone calls, letters & court attendance, my licence was returned & the judgement overturned. Oh, but this was just the start.

They moved the case to a court miles from my residence & I attended the first date to simply plead not guilty again. The next date I again asked for disclosure to mount a defence & had to again plead not guilty. On the third attendance I again asked for disclosure & was asked to file a subpoena & was offered to pay a fine but no record of the offence, IE; purger myself & walk away several hundred dollars out of pocket. I again attended the court & filed a subpoena for the disclosure to defend myself as advised by the magistrate.

I received a phone call saying that the magistrate would not stamp my subpoena & that he would address the matter at the pre-trial conference in 2 months time which will mean another attendance without any hope of even putting forward a defence. In fact, I am aware that the documents relating to the speed devices used clearly would cast doubt on their validity & it seems they will guard them at any expense. You just have to see the letters of reply in which they say there is no defence & no need for them to prove anything.

The other case is even more damning of the system, they even hold magistrates court hearings regarding these matters where they use uninformed JPs to simply rubber stamp the guilty pleas & non-attendances, & not guilty pleas must return weeks later & plead again, this time in front of a magistrate.(a kangaroo court at its best)

So much for Justice. Road safety or revenue raising? You be the judge.

(NaturalNews) A Rhode Island school district has announced a pilot program to monitor student movements by means of radio frequency identification (RFID) chips implanted in their schoolbags.

The Middletown School District, in partnership with MAP Information Technology Corp., has launched a pilot program to implant RFID chips into the schoolbags of 80 children at the Aquidneck School. Each chip would be programmed with a student identification number & would be read by an external device installed in one of two school buses. The buses would also be fitted with global positioning system (GPS) devices.

Parents or school officials could log onto a school web site to see whether & when specific children had entered or exited which bus & to look up the bus's current location as provided by the GPS device.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has criticized the plan as an invasion of children's privacy & a potential risk to their safety.

"There's absolutely no need to be tagging children," said Stephen Brown, executive director of the ACLU's Rhode Island chapter. According to Brown, the school district should already know where its students are.

"[This program is] a solution in search of a problem," Brown said.

EVEN after 10 years sitting as an elected member in the Queensland parliament, Dorothy Pratt insists she is not a politician.

"I'm a representative, not a politician," she said. "Politicians got too tied to political parties & lose their independence, so they just do what the party tells them & not what their constituents want."

The member for Nanango, northwest of Brisbane, is the only one of 11 One Nation MPs elected to the Queensland parliament a decade ago who is still there.

She invokes the same "anti-politician" rhetoric her former party leader Pauline Hanson used to shake the political landscape.

But these days, the woman who took over Joh Bjelke-Petersen's old seat based on Kingaroy sits as an independent, leaving the sole remaining One Nation MP anywhere in Australia as Rosa Lee Long, the member for Tablelands in North Queensland.

It was all so different in the heady days when One Nation was the leading conservative force in Queensland.

In the 1998 Queensland election, One Nation got 22.7 % of the primary vote, compared with the Liberals' 16.1 % & the Nationals' 15.2 %.

But the primary votes did not translate into a corresponding number of seats, largely because Labor did not give preferences to One Nation.

One Nation then was not a rural movement, but more concentrated on the edges of Brisbane & other provincial cities such as Townsville & Cairns. Bill Feldman, One Nation's leader in its first term, won the seat of Caboolture, an area on Brisbane's northern outskirts that until recently was held for the Liberals federally by Mal Brough. In the southside seat of Woodridge, then held for the ALP by since-convicted pedophile Bill D'Arcy, One Nation polled 30 % of the primary vote.

One Nation ended up with 11 of the 89 seats in the Queensland parliament, while the Nationals took 23 seats, the Liberals 9 & independents 2. Labor won 44 seats making it one short of an overall majority, but Peter Wellington, an independent from the Sunshine Coast, gave his support to Labor, & Peter Beattie became premier.

In the lead-up to the state poll, the momentum for One Nation in Queensland had been building steadily since the election to federal parliament of Pauline Hanson in 1996.

Mike Kaiser, who ran Labor's campaign in Queensland in 1998, said that when it became obvious One Nation was going to poll well, there was no shortage of people urging Labor to have nothing to do with a bunch of racists & gun nuts.

"But our whole strategy was to separate the people who voted for One Nation from the One Nation organisation," he said. "A lot of people voted for them who lived in the outer suburbs - they had no public transport, no services, they were unhappy, & frankly, they had a reason to be unhappy.

"What we tried to do was reach out to them through mechanisms such as the community cabinets & regional sittings of parliament, so you're out there directly talking to people."

Rae Wear, lecturer in politics at the University of Queensland & a specialist in rural politics, said Beattie & John Howard had different strategies for dealing with One Nation.

"Howard became very adept at deferring to One Nation voters - all that wedge politics, talking about elites & so forth," she said. "But Beattie actually engaged a lot more with the sort of people globalisation was leaving behind & who voted for One Nation. That was his whole strength - being able to identify with everyday people & have them identify with him."

The community cabinets, which have since been taken up by Kevin Rudd, were one initiative that came out of the One Nation juggernaut.

The community cabinets worked well for a politician who works a crowd as well as Beattie, & their strength was that anyone could come along & raise any topic & expect an answer.

Lee Long recalls that in 1998 there was great enthusiasm among One Nation MPs who saw themselves as representing those who did not have a voice.

Shaun Nelson was elected as the One Nation member for Tablelands in 1998. But he - along with eight of the other One Nation MPs – split from the party during his first term, & Lee Long was elected in 2001.

"One Nation was right then, it's right now & it will be right in the future," she said. "Everything we talked about – government departments being corporatised, our resources being sold off overseas, primary industries being deregulated & destroyed - has all come to pass."

Lee Long addresses head-on one of the main charges against One Nation - that it is racist.

"We're not opposed to immigration, but the only immigrants we should have are those who integrate into our way of life," she said. "They talk about racists in our party, but they're all through every party & the community. One Nation is no different to anyone else in that."

A Government funding scheme aimed at ensuring monuments & memorials remain a part of their communities has opened its 2008-09 program to applications.

Member for Tablelands Rosa Lee Long said the Community Memorials Restoration Program has been operating for five years & had provided funding toward 132 projects.

"Along with physical work & repairs this scheme is designed to help create opportunities for renewed interest in our public monuments & memorials & to help communities re-engage with them," she said.

"It can sometimes be too easy to lose sight of the achievements, the heroism, sacrifice & important events that are commemorated & marked by these structures".

This year projects that help enhance celebrations of the 150^th Anniversary of Queensland’s founding would have an enhanced chance of securing funding.

Members of Australia First attended the truckers’ rally in Toowoomba on Saturday. They were very well received by the crowd.

The meeting had been called to organize a national truckers’ strike for up to two weeks, now set to begin on 28^th July. The party endorses this strike & will, howsoever possible, assist to ensure its effectiveness. Its demands & its causes are justified absolutely!

The crowd was addressed by Mr. Jim Perren, a prominent Queensland nationalist & Australia First organizer. Mr. Perren denounced two National Party MPs who wormed their way to the platform (Messrs Ray Hopper & Vaughan Johnson). He said that they were typical "National Party b*stards", "hungry" "Opposition leaders" who would "say anything" & then "betray" the grassroots movement. He said Australia First endorsed the strike. He denounced "bad governance" throughout Australia that was robbing people of their livelihoods & said there was a rising "freedom struggle" in the country. He was wildly received!

Independent MP, Bob Katter, also supported the strike & he conferred with Australia First reps on certain matters. Mr. Katter said that the "same" rot (contract labour) that was eating into the meat industry & soon the farms, would extend into trucking. He said that the big boys aimed to drive all working operators out of the business & depress conditions for workers employed by the large companies.

Mr. Peter Schuback, who spoke at the recent Australia First conference, was interviewed outside the meeting by local television.

The strike has the support of grazier & other farming organisations & persons.

What do the truckers demand? They demand an end to the vicious fines system levied at truckers by revenue-raising police, the over-regulation of the truckers & the lack of proper stop-facilities when they are required to stop. They demand action on fuel prices (about which much was said). They are concerned for the survival of their industry. They are convinced big capital intends to destroy working people – & they are right!

Australia First will say more about the strike as matters develop.

Congratulations were given to Mr. Perren by the crowd. They are now conferred by the party.

The Melbourne branch is holding a special meeting on 28^th June. The meeting commemorates ‘Australian Workers’ Day’ – 30^th June.

This date marks the great day of 30^th June 1861 when Australian workers rose at Lambing Flat, at Young in New South Wales, against alien labour on the gold fields. Under the "Roll Up" banner (still at Young Museum), they struck a blow for free labour. Jack Lang said that this day was as significant as Eureka Stockade in setting the tone for free European labour on Australian soil & for the birth of the (true & original) Labour party & its plan for social justice.

Brendan Gidley, Victorian chairman, has invited Jim Saleam to speak. It is expected many new members will attend & many people will sign up that day. Victorian members will receive the relevant invitations.

The great anti-Australian cultural revolution that emerged from the 1970’s University & took over our intellectual life from that time, was the passage of the ‘New Class’ intellectual, with his leftist social agenda, into the system of the capitalist free marketeer.

Human Rights, ‘feminism’, ‘anti-racism, ‘political correctness’ of every variety, gay rights, merged with the free trade, open borders logic of corporation capitalism.

The leftist social agenda set out to achieve several things:

1. Break the idea of Australian nationhood. Nationality was a prejudice, a foolishness in a One World.
2. Suggest there was no valid nationality in a land ‘stolen’ from the aborigines & based upon racist privilege. Suggest that the only culture was ‘multi’-culture & allow the community to fragment.
3. Denounce, then undermine, a variety of social norms & practices – the traditional family, heterosexuality, parents’ rights, as incompatible with personal freedom.
4. Denounce & undermine country life & the farmers, then the Australian workers – as reactionary, biokey, racist. Commercialise everything from agriculture to union.
5. Establish a new language in the media, universities, schools & workplaces that would parrot the new ‘values’.

These ‘principles’ for a new Australia empowered the former (& any emergent) leftists. Hence we saw the Communist Party dissolve & its leadership pass into the social movements that underlay this cultural transformation of Australia. We saw the various Trotskyite groups with their rabid ideological internationalism act as enforcers against all ‘sexism’ ‘racism’ ‘homophobia’ in the school, workplace & university.

This system of control has worked well for a quarter century.

The Australian money elite preached the global market. It wanted to break any traditional Australian social structures so it could have a fluid labour market with no other social agenda than personal ‘happiness’.

The alliance of Left & Right has been effective. Leftists gave up the idea of socialist revolution & chose to realise their social goals within capitalism. The rightists chose to build the globalised economy, but gave up the idea of traditionalism.

It goes to show capitalism was more radical in practice!

Australia needs therefore – a new cultural revolution. It begins in our universities & it starts by a refusal to allow the politically correct intellectual terrorism of the State & its academia to bludgeon us to silence. If we refuse to obey system logic, we fire the first shot!

ATTACK ... human rights activist Jean Williams has accused the Defence Department of a "snow job" over chemical tests in Innisfail in 1966.

THE Defence Department's denial of using Agent Orange in Innisfail in the 1960s was "a snow job", human rights activist Jean Williams says.

Ms Williams, an award-winning author & Agent Orange researcher of Nambour, on the Sunshine Coast, said Defence had admitted using Diquat, Tordon & dimethyl sulfoxide in its tests - chemicals equally as potent as the toxic defoliant Agent Orange.

A Defence spokesman said that the herbicide 2,4-D - a component of Agent Orange - was not tested.

Mrs Williams who wrote Cry In The Wilderness - Guinea Pigs of Vietnam & Children of the Mist - Agent Orange, Future Generations, said it was time to stop "telling lies".

She said Defence Science & Technology Organisation documents she unearthed in the archives of the Australian War Memorial showed that 2,4-D had been recommended for use with other agents for early 1966 trials in Innisfail. The defoliation experiments were carried out in rainforest in the Gregory Falls area using Diquat & Tordon.

"A study was done on Tordon, funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs, which showed that 2,4-D was a part of Tordon," Mrs Williams said. Tordon is 2,4-D & picloram which equals Agent White," she said.

Mrs Williams said the chemicals affected the skin, muscles, blood, respiratory, immune & nervous systems, heart & liver as well as being carcinogenic & interfering with female & male reproduction.

Diquat affected the respiratory & nervous system as well as the liver & male reproduction & was also a mutagen. Mixing the chemicals together heightened their toxicity, she said.

"This has been accepted by the Department of Veterans' Affairs & you can't make it any clearer than that, yet they (Defence) are still making a fuss & lying & I'm not going to let them get away with it," Mrs Williams said. She said the Veterans' Support Agency had similar concerns.

It had contacted her about Vietnam veterans with serious health problems they believed were due to chemical spraying, including one Army officer (not a veteran) who was involved in the deforestation tests at Cowley Beach, near Innisfail. "He died from colon & liver cancer & his family are convinced it was from the testing at Innisfail," she said.

Queensland Health rejected claims last month that cancer rates in Innisfail were 10 times the Queensland average after reports that Agent Orange was sprayed close to the town's water supply between 1964 & 1966.

The Defence Department said a trial was conducted to evaluate the performance of herbicides using only "small quantities of commercially available chemicals - Diquat, Tordon & dimethyl sulfoxide" to control the growth of tropical vegetation.

We are told that we are about to enter a period of great affluence due to mineral developments. Much of the mineral development is in the hands of foreign companies & a great deal of the income from the mining boom will quickly go overseas.

Our politicians have greatly mismanaged our water resources thereby destroying the incomes of those who depend on water like fruit & dairy farmers & destroying the ecology of the Murray River. Nothing is simpler to handle than water. It is not toxic. It is not very volatile. Ancient societies managed to use it wisely, but in spite of modern technology, we use it wastefully.

Whilst our politicians seem oblivious to the destruction of the nation that hard-working Australians created they appear to be working to create a global paradise & turn Australia into an insignificant part of the global world. We have been treading that path for more than thirty years. It was not Fraser or Kerr who dumped Whitlam as P.M. It was his own former supporters. They did so because by lowering tariffs he destroyed their employment & the industries they had built over many years. Where, in thirty years, has this wonderful policy taken the nation or the world?

From the Netherlands drift the first sparks of a firestorm that threatens to engulf Britain & the rest of Europe. At its centre stands one man, a 44-year-old by the name of Geert Wilders. He is a Dutch MP who likes sharp suits & has a shock of blonde hair. It's a look not dissimilar to that of car salesman "Swiss Toni" from classic comedy series The Fast Show - but mention the name of Geert Wilders in Holland & it won't raise a laugh. Quite the opposite, in fact.

His actions, the Dutch government is warning, have put countless lives at risk. Plans are being drawn up to evacuate Dutch embassies around the world, riot police are on standby in Amsterdam & ordinary citizens are cancelling foreign holidays as they prepare for trouble. There are already protests on the streets & by the governments of Pakistan, Bangladesh & Indonesia.

Wilders, you see, has spoken out against the Muslim faith. He's attacked the "tsunami of Islamisation" that he says is engulfing traditional Dutch society. He's attacked the prophet Mohammed, saying that were he alive today he should be "tarred & feathered" & deported as an extremist.

He's attacked the culture of political correctness that has seen immigrants given housing & benefits without even having to try to assimilate into Western culture. And he's attacked the Koran, a book he likens to Hitler's Mein Kampf, describing it as the cornerstone of a "fascist ideology" that aims to destroy all who oppose it.

Wilders has also made a 15-minute movie. Called Fitna (Arabic for "strife"), it was broadcast on the internet for the first time on Thursday afternoon, prompting fears of a backlash against Dutch citizens of unprecedented proportions.

Wilders remains unrepentant. Over the past few years the Right-wing MP has received many death threats & knows his life is in danger. Even so, he says: "If I were to moderate my voice, if I stop saying what I think, then the people who use undemocratic arguments like death threats would have won.

There have been protests on the streets in response to Wilders' anti-Islamic statements. "So I will never stop, because if I moderate my voice, if I do not tell the truth according to me, then the people who use threats will win. I believe that in a democracy those people should never win."

Opinions of Wilders are mixed. The Establishment seeks to discredit him as an over-ambitious, Right-wing, pro-Israeli politician who will do anything to gain popularity. It says his comments are so inflammatory that they have no place in a civilised society. But others insist he should be free to express his opinions & that those who seek to silence him are the real threat.

Surveys show that many people agree with him. Where others have been cowed into silence, Wilders has given voice to the concerns of the masses (or so the argument goes). And, as Wilders has noted, those concerns are not unique to the Dutch - but are also boiling close to the surface in Britain.

When a Danish newspaper published caricatures of the prophet Mohammed in 2005, more than 100 people died during ensuing protests across the Muslim world. So it is hardly surprising that mainstream TV companies haven't been keen to broadcast Wilders's video.

The sensitivities surrounding the film mean that even making it available on the web hasn't proved straightforward. When an early clip from Fitna was placed on YouTube, the internet moviesharing site, the authorities in Pakistan took the unprecedented step of blocking access to it. Then, earlier this week, the website on which Wilders had proposed showing the film was closed down by its internet service provider amid concerns over its content. Undeterred, Wilders vowed that, if necessary, he would personally hand out copies of it on DVD in Amsterdam. In the end, he didn't have to, as he posted the footage on LiveLeak.com, a Britishbased video-sharing website. It is that connection which yesterday dragged the UK into the controversy.

"This heinous measure by a Dutch lawmaker & a British establishment. . . is indicative of the continuation of the evilness & deep vengeance such Western nationals have against Muslims," Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said.

The documentary juxtaposes Koran extracts against footage of terrorist atrocities, of Sharia law in action & of jihad. These include graphic scenes of Americans throwing themselves from the Twin Towers in the 9/11 attacks, beheadings & hangings.

Ten minutes into the film, Wilders turns to the Netherlands. Statistics showing the growing Muslim population in Holland (nearly one million Muslims make up 5.5 % of the population but in the main cities it is around a third & growing) are followed by images of female genital mutilation, a hanging of gay men, & bloodied children. This is succeeded by the question: "The Netherlands of the future?"

The film concludes with someone leafing through the Koran & a tearing sound. "The sound you heard was a page being torn out of the phone book. It is not up to me, but up to the Muslims to tear the spiteful verses from the Koran," reads the text on the screen.

"In 1945, Nazism was defeated in Europe. In 1989, Communism was defeated in Europe. Now, the Islamic ideology has to be defeated. Stop Islamisation. Defend our freedom."

The final image is the Danish cartoon of the prophet Mohammed with a bomb as a turban. The fuse coming from the bomb is lit & as the screen turns black there is the sound of thunder.

Overall, it's quite a slick production but its content, while stomach-churning & offensive in places, is no more extreme than other packages on the web. What distinguishes it is that Wilders is prepared to claim authorship & makes no bones about his motivations for making it. His aim is to illustrate his dislike for the Koran. "The main issue is the fascist book of the Koran," he says. "What I want to show. . . is that many verses (in it) are very bad indeed &, even today, are inspiring people to do the worst things not just in the Middle East but in Europe & the United States." He adds that it is wrong to see the Koran in the same light as the Bible.

"It is a very vivid book that, unfortunately, is still giving incentives to a lot of people & some countries of the world to do the most terrible terroristic things. Unfortunately, it is not a handful, it is a growing minority who find an inspiration in Islam."

Wilders, whose Freedom Party (PVV) holds nine seats in the 150-seat Dutch parliament, emphasises it is the ideology that he objects to & not Muslims per se. But he claims that rising numbers of Muslims are taking an extremist stance & he does not believe that a "moderate" or "European" version of Islam will emerge for many thousands of years. "We cannot afford to wait," he says.

Wilders does not think that all cultures have a right to be treated equally, even branding Islamic culture "retarded". It is his view that the politically correct approach of Governments in Western Europe towards immigrants has failed.

He wants the Dutch constitution rewritten so that the Koran can be outlawed in Holland, all immigration from Muslim countries halted, Muslim immigrants paid to leave & all Muslim "criminals" stripped of Dutch citizenship & sent "back to where they came from".

"We tried for many decades in Europe, we tried it the other way, to do it with dialogue & by accepting other cultures & by calling them our equal & by saying everything is all right," he says.

"Dutch politicians allowed it to happen. They never said: 'Stop, this is our country, our values, we are the bosses, if you want to come here & stay here that is OK but only if you adhere to our values, to our principles & our laws.' But certainly that is not happening.

"For all our tolerance, unfortunately we are also tolerant to the intolerant. We should learn to start being intolerant to the people who are intolerant to us. That is the best lesson for the Dutch government to learn." And, according to Wilders, it's not just the Dutch government who needs to learn this - other nations, Britain included, are "going in the wrong direction altogether". "There is almost no country more politically correct than the UK," he has said. "Look at the terrible things that happened in London after Madrid. You have more reason than most to make this debate transparent & public.

Dutch soldiers in Afghanistan are certainly a target & plans have been drawn up to evacuate Dutch nationals from Muslim countries worldwide.

Wilders acknowledges that some people will be offended by the film but says he can't be blamed if people react in a way that is outside the law. "I can never be responsible for that because I am a democratically elected politician. I use only democratic means & I believe in a democracy - if you don't like the message or the movie or the article, you write your own article or you make your own movie or you go into a debate or a discussion, & if people use violence (instead) then they are responsible for it."

Others say he is being disingenuous & trying to provoke an extreme reaction. For while he condemns Nazism, he is also displaying its worst traits by wanting to get rid of Muslims.

Hans van den Broek is a former Dutch minister for foreign affairs & a government adviser. "I am well aware of people's constitutional right regarding freedom of speech, but Wilders's pronouncements about wanting the Koran forbidden & his likening of Mohammed to Hitler go too far," he insists.

Meanwhile, Zainab al-Touraihi, secretary-general of the Contact Body for Muslims, the official Muslim advisory body to the Dutch government, says: "I think he's addicted to the attention of the media. He's doing it for political reasons, & I'm sure he's getting more & more votes - & that's the scary thing."

Wilders is well aware of this growing support. Most Dutch people wanted the film to be broadcast, & Wilders recently topped a poll as the most effective politician in Holland. Support for his party increases, as does the feeling that he has tapped into a deep well of grievances. Those who know him say it is hardly surprising given his own experiences. The son of a printing company director, Wilders has a Catholic background & went to a Catholic secondary school. He was a speech-writer for the liberal VVD party, was elected as city councillor in Utrecht in 1997 & made an MP the next year.

Wilders lived with his wife in Utrecht's Kanal island area - which, once a respectable neighbourhood, became dogged by crime, blamed on rising immigration & unemployment. Around this time Wilders was beaten up & had his wallet stolen, reportedly by immigrant youths. He needed hospital treatment. The attack was said to have left him convinced the Netherlands was unsafe & that immigration & unemployment & crime needed to be tackled. This was reinforced in 2002, following the murder of outspoken anti-immigration MP Pim Fortuyn by a Leftist activist.

Wilders set up the Freedom Party & attracted widespread publicity calling for a ban on the burqa. Friends say he is obsessed with politics, partly due to the extraordinary life he now has to live.

Surrounded by six bodyguards, paid for by the State, he has received 600 death threats. Sometimes he & his wife have been moved into prison cells for their safety. "It is something you would not wish on your worst enemy," he says of this. "I lost my freedom & privacy because of my opposition to Islam." And though he does not say it, it is clear he would sacrifice his life, too.

Before the film's release, a statement on an Arabic website with links to Al Qaeda read: "In the name of Allah, we ask you to bring us the head of this infidel who insults Islam & Muslims & ridicules the Prophet Mohammed."

For Geert Wilders - & for the stability of society in much of Western Europe - the stakes have again been raised.

For goodness sake, it is not Geert Wilders who is about to engulf Britain in holy war, it is the pathetic leaders who have for years ignored the signs & now it is Muslims who want the British to give up their traditions, & lives…… G

Australia’s super funds are set to record a collective loss of over $50 billion, or 5.2 %, for 2007/2008, their worst return in 20 years, according to the research firm SuperRatings.

But it will soon get even worse: The Royal Bank of Scotland has issued an alert that there will be a "global stock & credit crash" over the next three months, which will likely drag the S&P 500 Index (the top 500 Wall Street companies) down by 300 points, or around 25 %, by September.

RBS spokesman Bob Janjuah warned London’s June 18 Daily Telegraph, "A very nasty period is soon to be upon us—be prepared."

He predicted the trouble will begin by the end of July, at which point the Federal Reserve & European Central Bank will panic because they are in a catch-22: cutting rates will fuel inflation, while raising rates will blow out the credit markets.

The RBS prediction echoes the 6^th June statement by the American physical economist Lyndon LaRouche, the world’s most accurate economic forecaster: "By the end of July, the world situation, as also the situation inside the United States, will have changed radically as we approach the first anniversary of the late-July 2007 outbreak of the world’s presently accelerating, inflationary, general financial breakdown-crisis."

What is unfolding is the hyperinflationary blow-out of the entire global financial system, as the $700 trillion global derivatives bubble goes into meltdown, & the London-controlled hedge funds, which created the bubble, drive up the price of oil & resources to bail themselves out.

This is proving to be the final straw for the world’s physical economy, which is now passing breaking point; 850 million people in the world face death by starvation because of the acute world food shortage, which is the most obvious manifestation of this breakdown.

This economic breakdown crisis is systemic & will be impossible for individuals or nations to "weather"—governments must intervene.

Governments like Australia’s Rudd Government which refuse to intervene, but leave the situation to be resolved by the "free market", are betraying their people, condemning them to bankruptcy & death.

In Victoria we have a Premier who, in his arrogance, will not listen to the people or take the advice of the experts. Over the past weeks we have had protests from the taxi drivers, the nurses, the teachers, the pensioners & now the farmers. Still Brumby does not listen. He even has the audacity to call our farmers liars because he thinks he knows better.

Then we have the P.M. who has so far done little for Australia in the 6 months he has been our 'leader', the trips overseas with handouts to other countries does not equate to governing Australia.

Every time things start to heat up with the people telling him that they are not happy, along comes a smoke & mirror subterfuge.

This time the Asian Union. It is about time that Mr. Rudd realised that while he feels so aligned with Asia, note his grasp of the Mandarin language, this is still a western country & this is how we want it to remain.

Perhaps it is time that the two party preferred system was overturned & the minor parties be looked at.  Many of these have policies that are put there for us, the people of this great country. Maybe they aren't ready to govern but they just might do as Don Chipp used to say " Keep the b*stards honest."

I am sending this question to a number of people in the hope of getting a differing view & finding a solution to the problem.

The Problem: Not enough people standing as Independent or minor party candidates in the elections.

The question is -  WHY?

I have my own views on this but, as you know, one person’s view is tainted by one’s own personal experiences & it is of greater benefit to get the opinions of many before making any conclusions.

I would greatly appreciate your time & effort in answering this question with as much information & explanation & to the best of your ability.

I recently received an email asking that we all come together but once again, as in the past, I think that the call will be ignored, once again the question must be asked - WHY?

Would you please share your opinions once again as to why these constant requests to come together are in fact ignored & nothing continues to happen.

I would be happy to forward the comments to each of the people I have sent this to without disclosing the sender of such opinion.

Until we try to find out why then address any perceived or actual problems, are we going to solve the problems & move forward?

If we only had enough resolute & fearless people who would get together to rid ourselves of our treacherous "servants"!

It only requires a place to be booked maybe in each state, or even a house to start with, where delegates from the various groups or even independents can get together & discuss ways of making a concerted effort at election time. From there, larger meetings could be called & surely with the vast majority who agree with us we can beat these b*stards.

AP Technology Writer – San Jose, Calif. -- When surfing the Internet for safe web sites, not all domains are equal.

Companies that assign addresses for web sites appear to be cutting corners on security more when they assign names in certain domains than in others, according to a report to be released Wednesday by antivirus software vendor McAfee Inc.

McAfee found the most dangerous domains to navigate to are ".hk" (Hong Kong), ".cn" (China) & ".info" (information).

Of all ".hk" sites McAfee tested, it flagged 19.2 % as dangerous or potentially dangerous to visitors; it flagged 11.8 % of ".cn" sites & 11.7 % of ".info" sites that way.

A little more than 5 % of the sites under the ".com" domain - the world's most popular - were identified as dangerous.

More spammers, malicious code writers & other cybercriminals can establish an online presence when domain name registry businesses cut requirements for registering a site in order to boost their profit & profile. The report doesn't identify domain name registration companies McAfee believes are responsible for those lapses.

Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of companies are in the business of registering domain names; some are large & well known, while others are small & less reputable, offering their services on the cheap & with flimsy or no background checks to lure in more customers.

The fact that Internet scam artists gravitate to domain name services with lower fees & fewer requirements isn't new.

What McAfee's "Mapping the Mal Web" report, now in its second year, tries to do is identify the domains that are populated with the highest concentration of risky sites.

The servers for ".hk" & ".cn" web sites don't have to be in China; web site operators can register sites from anywhere to target different geographies.

Other risky domains include ".ro" (Romania), with 6.8 %, & ".ru" (Russia), with 6 % of sites flagged as dangerous.

Shane Keats, research analyst for McAfee & lead author of the report, said the increase in dangerous sites registered under the ".hk" & ".cn" domains over last year's report was caused in part by better data collection on McAfee's part on those domains & by apparent security lapses in some registrar companies' processes for registering addresses.

"My advice about surfing behavior is that if you're really desperate for cheap Prozac & the pharmacy ends in '.cn,' don't do it. Just don't do it," Keats said. "Find another place to get your Prozac."

Many Internet frauds involve fake sites for pharmaceuticals.

The McAfee report is based on results from 9.9 million web sites that were tested in 265 domains for serving malicious code, excessive pop-up ads or forms to fill out that actually are tools for harvesting e-mail addresses for sending spam.

Keats said domain name registrars that are strict about authenticating that web site owners are operating a legitimate business see far fewer malicious web sites using their services.

Where McAfee found some of the least-risky domain names:

- ".gov" (government use), with 0.05 % flagged;

- ".jp" (Japan), with 0.1 % flagged &

• ".au" (Australia), with 0.3 % flagged.

The 2020 Summit has been criticised both for the way in which the delegates were chosen, reflected in the 98:1 vote in favour of a republic, & also the way in which its conclusions on a republic were changed when it was realised they were based on an elementary misunderstanding of the law.

Now the cost of the Summit, & the way in which open tenders were not used in awarding contracts is coming under scrutiny.

This came before the Senate Estimates Committee on Finance & Administration on 27 May, 2008. The proceedings are reported in Hansard. [There is a link on the ACM site to the transcript] Senator Robinson has been scathing both about some of the sums spent & of the process of appointment of some contractors.

The appropriation for the Summit was $2.6 million, of which $1.9 million has been spent so far. Further accounts are expected.

The largest sum, $317,000, was paid to the office of Summit Co-Chairman & close friend of the Prime Minister, Professor Glyn Davis. This was for various costs incurred by the University of Melbourne.

The project director, Linda Hornsey, was paid over $100,000. As with Professor Davis, this appointment was a direct appointment without any tender.

Parliament House charged over $162,000 for guides, nursing, IT & other services. Security costs were under $40,000, surprisingly low when compared with the sums charged for Royal Tours. Various events companies, & the Hyatt Hotel, were paid over $700,000.

Each delegate was asked to record what they would like to see in 2020, & what they would do to achieve that in a time capsule.

The construction of this cost almost $12,000, a little less than the legal costs for the Summit.

The appointment without any tender of a company called CMAX Communications has created some interest.

In The Age of 25 April 2008, "PR job for wife of Labor staffer, " Kenneth Davidson & Jewel Topsfield reported that this company is run by the wife of a government employee.

According to the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, CMAX is solely owned by Christian Taubenschlag, who is media adviser to the Minister for Defence, the Hon. Joel Fitzgibbon, but a spokesman for Prime Minister Kevin Rudd told The Age that Mr Taubenschlag had stopped playing any active role in the company.

The company was paid $56,000.

John Roskam, the executive director of the Institute of Public Affairs, said the awarding of the contract raised questions of conflict of interest, according to a further report by Jewel Topsfield in The Age of 26 April 2008, "2020 PR contract 'jobs for the boys."

He said Mr Rudd & Special Minister of State John Faulkner had made a great deal about the need for accountability & transparency when it came to proposals to expose the lobbying industry to greater public scrutiny.

"This is perhaps not the best way for a government to start a reign which is supposed to be recognised for transparency & accountability," Mr Roskam told The Age.

"Sadly we might end up with politicians behaving like politicians."

Democrat Senator Andrew Murray said "It seems someone somewhere has not been upfront enough."

Where a tender process is not used, he said, "it is incumbent on the Government to ensure that the process is absolutely above board, there is no perception of conflict of interest, or of special favours to mates or insiders."

Australia’s official response to the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in global food supply which immediately threatens 850 million people, delivered by Foreign Minister Stephen Smith to the UN FAO Summit in Rome today, amounts to saying, "Let them starve."

The only concrete measure pledged by Smith to address the current, urgent food shortage, is $30 million to the UN World Food Program’s emergency appeal; however, what good is $30 million when there is a global food shortage? Where’s the food that $30 million is supposed to buy?

What was urgently needed from Australia was pledges of actual food, which Australia would be in a position to provide, in abundance, were it not for the free trade & "environmentalist" policies of the Rudd Labor Government, & its predecessor Howard Coalition Government, which have annihilated food production in Australia.

Yet it was precisely these policies which Smith pledged more of, in his FAO speech:

Australians must demand the Rudd Government act to expand food production & save Australia’s family farmers (by implementing the CEC’s 9-point call), & align Australia with the growing push among nations like Russia, Egypt, Argentina & other nations, which are dumping free trade & expanding their food production, to free all peoples from hunger & want.

On 30^th May, 2008 the LaRouche Political Action Committee (LPAC) released the first in a series of policy memoranda, entitled "LPAC Food Policy Memorandum: Kill the WTO; Double Food Production". The memo is introduced with a background to the current world food crisis:
